"That was a wonderful concert last night at the Abbey - start to finish! I really do think the choir sounds very different now from when I first
heard it some years ago (plaudits due to George Vass, of course). All voices sounding so fresh, with a clear, bright tone. And I was just so delighted with the performance of Laudate
– sung with lovely line in the first movement and muscular rhythm in the last. And of course Frances Bourne was outstanding. So, altogether a lovely partnership between soloist, George, all of you and the excellent band. A cracker of a concert"
