The Choir’s Singing Group performed on Tuesday 10 September as part of the 30th Anniversary celebrations of the Cross Street Centre – attached to Dagnall Street Baptist Church where the Choir rehearses.

Led by Ali Burroughes, the Group sang a selection of popular singalong favourites to lighten the lunchtime of cafe patrons. Songs included Oh my darling, Clementine and Side by Side. The ladies sang Danny Boy while the gentlemen performed their party piece, The Gas Man Cometh. The accompanist was Tony Bralant. In a week of celebrations, groups who use the Cross Street Centre performed each lunchtime.
