We are excited to announce that tickets to our first concert of the season are now on sale online!

St Albans Choral Society returns to concert-giving with a performance of Rossini’s life enhancing ‘Petite Messe Solennelle’ conducted by Music Director, George Vass. With exciting choruses, beautiful arias, wonderfully operatic writing and its somewhat eccentric scoring for four soloists, choir, piano and harmonium, the ‘Petite Messe Solennelle’ is a great way to celebrate a return to live singing. The first half of the concert is given over to three of Anton Bruckner’s most beautiful Motets for unaccompanied chorus led by the choir’s recently appointed assistant conductor, Augustina Kapoti.
